Chamomile Honeysuckle Whiskey Sour

Another spring-inspired cocktail today, a whiskey sour variation with the addition of orange juice and a floral + herbal syrup made with organic chamomile and honeysuckle flowers. Thinking warm thoughts…☀️


  • 2 oz bourbon (I used Woodford Reserve)
  • 1 oz freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1/2 oz lemon juice
  • 3/4 oz chamomile + honeysuckle syrup*
  • Garnish with an orange slice and flowers

*Chamomile + Honeysuckle Syrup

  • 100g (about 1/2 cup) water
  • 100g (about 1/2 cup) sugar
  • 2 tbsp chamomile flowers (find them here)
  • 2 tbsp honeysuckle flowers (find them here)

Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat and stir until sugar dissolves. Add the flowers and simmer until the syrup begins to thicken. Remove from heat, allow to cool, strain and enjoy. Store in the refrigerator.
