Today’s my birthday so to celebrate I’ve thrown together some of my favorite things: booze, ice cream, and cake, complete with edible flowers and micro greens!
The past year has been a wild ride. Becoming a mom, making the scary move to leave my day job and pursue my side projects full time, rediscovering my passion for photography through a newfound passion for craft cocktails – it’s been a year of huge changes, some very hard times, and a whole lot of love. Looking forward to what 2018 has to bring and here’s hoping 32 is my best year yet…
- 1 oz gin (I used Malfy Con Limone)
- 1/2 oz Meyer lemon juice, strained
- 1/2 oz St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur
- A scoop of Breyers vanilla ice cream
- Champagne (Veuve Clicquot)
Add first four ingredients to a shaker. Shake until chilled (and a smooth consistency), strain into a flute, top with champagne. Garnished with a mini cupcake, edible flowers, micro greens, birthday candle. ???
