I’m all about less waste and creative use of what’s available, so today I’ve cleaned out my fridge and created a pretty tasty drink featuring leftover ingredients and scraps.
Recipe:
- 2 oz gin
- 1/2 oz beet juice
- 1/2 oz strawberry basil syrup
- Juice of 1/2 a Meyer lemon
- Juice of 1 lime
- 4 strawberries
- 1/4 prickly pear
- 1 egg white
Muddle prickly pear and strawberries. Add all ingredients to a shaker, dry shake, wet shake, strain into chilled coupe. Garnish with an imperfect little citrus wheel.
