Pomelo + Pink Coconut Water

I’m really into making simple summery cocktails using some of my favorite bottled beverages from Whole Foods at the moment. Harmless Harvest Coconut Water is my go-to coconut water (and pretty much the ultimate hangover cure).

It’s made from young, organic, Thai coconuts and is super sweet and delicious, and not quite like any other bottled coconut water I’ve tasted. I love when I find a pink one - did you know that fresh coconut water sometimes turns pink because of the antioxidants interacting with the light?! These are the same type of antioxidants that make the leaves change color in the fall. Nature is amazing. Happy Tuesday! 

Pomelo + Pink Coconut Water

Recipe:

  • 1.5 oz Bacardi Carta Blanca white rum
  • 1 oz pomelo juice
  • .5 oz lemon syrup
  • Top with Harmless Harvest pink coconut water
  • Garnish with pomelo and edible flowers (I found these at Whole Foods, they are dianthus, I believe!)
