I saw the most beautiful organic radishes at the store the other day and was inspired to create a sweet and peppery cocktail syrup. I envisioned this gorgeous vegetal cocktail with celery bitters and the perfect radish rose garnish…but my knife skills and garnish making skills are sub par at best…When in doubt, toss an entire radish on top of your drink.
- 2 oz gin
- 1 oz red radish and lemon syrup
- 1 clementine
- About 2” of cucumber
- 3 dashes celery bitters
Remove peel from clementine and muddle the fruit with the cucumber in a shaker. Add bitters, gin, syrup, and ice, and shake until chilled. Garnish with a petite radish.
