Classic Vesper Martini Recipe

This now-classic cocktail was invented by James Bond author Ian Fleming. This very dry martini is made with both gin and vodka, with a splash of Lillet Blanc or Cocchi Americano.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 oz gin
  • 1 oz vodka
  • ½ oz Lillet Blanc (or Cocchi Americano)

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass and fill it 3/4 with ice.
  • Stir until chilled, then strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with an expressed lemon peel.
