This easy pineapple syrup recipe covers three different ways to make pineapple syrup for cocktails and other drinks. Whether you have fresh pineapple or pineapple juice, you can easily make a delicious pineapple syrup!

With fresh pineapple: 2 cups fresh pineapple, peeled and chopped 1 cup sugar 1 cup water With pineapple juice: 1 cup pineapple juice unsweetened 1 cup sugar
With fresh pineapple: Combine all ingredients in a small sauce pan and bring to a boil. Stir frequently to dissolve all of the sugar.
Once boiling, reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove the pan from the heat and all the mixture to cool fully before straining the pineapple from the syrup.
Store the finished syrup in a covered, clean glass jar or bottle for up to two weeks.
With pineapple juice: Combine the juice and sugar in a mason jar or large measuring cup.
Stir (or close the lid and shake) until all of the sugar has dissolved.
Store in a covered, clean glass jar or bottle for up to two weeks.
