The Jack Rose is a classic cocktail made with applejack (or other apple brandy), grenadine, and citrus juice. This recipe uses premium Calvados, homemade grenadine, and freshly squeezed lime juice for a smooth, flavorful and fruity cocktail.

  • 2 oz Calvados, applejack, or other apple brandy
  • ¾ oz real grenadine
  • ¾ oz lime juice (or lemon juice, if you prefer)


  • Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and fill it 3/4 with ice.
  • Shake until chilled, then strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with an apple fan.
