- ½ cup sugar
- ½ stick unsalted butter, cold, diced
- ½ cup chopped almonds (optional)
For the apple tart's glaze:
- ¼ cup apricot jam
- ¼ cup Turmeric Chai Tea syrup
- 2 tablespoon aged rum
For the Turmeric Chai Tea syrup:
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup Turmeric Chai Tea (loose leaf tea blend)
For the Turmeric Chai Hot Buttered Rum (makes 2):
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoon Turmeric Chai Tea syrup
- 4 tablespoon aged rum
